Wall Sits by Kerry Marraffino

Wall sits are a great exercise to add to your routine before ski season starts as they strengthen your quads. You will also need some exercises to work the rest of the muscles in your legs for skiing like lunges.

Wall sits are another one of those moves that I encourage you to go to your happy place and settle in. It is a great place to focus on your breathing. Breathe in deeply and exhale all the way. This is a great time to practice that!

To help you see how to get into the sitting position here is a video of a wall sit. Keep your back flat against the wall, your feet should be firmly planted on the ground about 2 feet from the wall and 6 inches apart. Slide down the wall until your quads are parallel to the floor and hold it there until time is up. Here is a link to the videoWhile you are there please subscribe to my You Tube channel.

This is one of the exercises in my new book, "31-Day Workout Challenge." You can find it on Amazon here.

As always, reach out if you have any questions. Comment if you have used this exercise and what you think about it.
